Your Role (Good News First)
You’re not the teacher.
You’re the coach.
You don’t have to be the expert.
As the coach, your job is to:
• Watch
• Listen
• Ask a few good questions
• Encourage effort
• Pray when something shows up
The system carries the structure.
You carry the relationship.

That’s it.

Where Faith Fits
Faith isn’t a separate lesson bolted on at the end.
It shows up naturally when kids:
• Reflect on effort
• Work through frustration
• Practice gratitude
• Talk about purpose
• Ask big questions
You don’t force it.
You notice it—and respond.
Faith shows up most clearly when you slow down enough to notice what God may be forming beneath the surface.

What Coaches Usually Say
“I didn’t realize how much my kid was showing me. I just wasn’t looking for it.”

That’s the shift.
